Professor Christine Moffatt, CBE, has transformed leg ulcer management and the lives of many patients through 20 years of nursing research, practice and education. Among her many important roles, Professor Christine Moffatt is director of the International Lymphoedema Framework, which aims to improve the management of patients with lymphoedema and related disorders through partnerships with national frameworks worldwide. She works as a clinical nurse consultant in the UK.
Christine formed the Leg Ulcer Forum in 1993 and was president of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) from November 1999 until May 2002. She has also been published widely, including four nursing text books and presents and publishes internationally. She is the current editor of the Journal of Lymphoedema.
